The city is located in Morang District in the Kosi Zone of eastern Terai region of Nepal.
It lies 399 km east of Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, and 6 km north of the border of the Indian state of Bihar(Jogbani).

|More Info||The hospital currently has 911 beds of its own at full function. It serves the patients from various communities of Nepal and adjoining Bihar state of India. It has several super Specialty Services with eminent Super Specialized Doctors. The hospital is expected to expand its bed capacity up to 1050.
